48 Low or No Cost Business Ideas Digital Download

Is your work determining the kind of life you live, or are you deliberately choosing the life you want and having work complement that?

Have you heard the concept “ideas are a dime a dozen…”

So often I hear people say that they would love to start a business but don’t have the money to do anything. And thus they quickly dismiss what may be their greatest opportunity.

There are plenty of ideas floating around – and each idea is merely a thought – unless someone acts on it.  Building a business doesn’t have to be a completely original thought – learn from the stories of others and develop your own unique slant!

Rudder of the Day

Be very careful how you start your morning. You are planting the seeds for what the day will hold. If you get up late, grab a cup of bad coffee and a Twinkie, rush to work fuming at the idiots in traffic, and drop down exhausted at your desk at 8:10, you have set the tone for your day. Everything will seem like pressure and your best efforts will be greatly diluted.

The importance of planting wholesome, life-enriching thoughts in our minds in that first hour of the day cannot be overemphasized. I never read the paper first thing in the morning, no matter how important it may seem to know the news. The news is filled with rape, murder, pestilence, and heartache, and that is not the input I want in my brain. Later in the day, I can scan the news for anything related to my areas of interest and quickly sort through what I need. But I carefully protect that first hour of the day, making sure that all input is positive, clean, pure, creative and inspirational.

Wisdom Meets Passion

It’s about recognizing that passion within us that we all can feel and strive for.  I worked with my son Jared Angaza to write Wisdom Meets Passion – a book that talks about joining generations and philosophies – not just in work, but in our overall perspective on the world.

Remember when your favorite bands came together to make that epic song?

Or that giant corporation came together with a great charity and profoundly impacted a community?

When “they” become “we” – what would this concept do to change our paradigm?

Write to the Bank

Writing is such a natural way to share stories, ideas and inspiration, as well as pass memories on to future generations.

Have you ever heard, “you should write a book”?

Do you love to write, but are intimidated by it?

There are two ways to write a book – one is simply to get your thoughts out, and one is to reach others.

If you desire to share your thoughts with the world, then write that book…and then recognize you are 10% complete.
